Our recycling / disposal advice
Before disposal the detector needs to be permanently switched off.
Locate the small marked rectangle at the bottom of the rear panel.
Push a hole in the rear label in the area marked by the rectangle.
Insert a coin into the detector casing and twist the coin in such a way as to break the bottom edge of the monitor case.
Pull the activation tab out of the detector to switch the detector off.
(Warning do not dispose of in fire).
The detector is now allowed to be disposed of in the normal household waste stream.
