Q: Who is WasteAware?
A: WasteAware is a partnership made up of Hertfordshire County Council and the ten district councils in Hertfordshire. Our role is to increase awareness of waste issues across the county. More information.
Q: Who do I contact to talk about the competition?
A: Linda Whitehead - linda.whitehead@hertscc.gov.uk, telephone 01992 556184.
Q: How much space and equipment do I need for an ImpAct visit?
A: The hall or gym where you normally hold your assembly will be ideal. Impact will need access to a plug socket, nothing else. The performance will be at floor level, so leave a space at the top of the hall for the actors.
Q: How many students can take part in the ImpAct visit and how long will it take?
A: The Performance lasts for 1 hour and can accommodate children from Years 7and 8. The 1 hour workshop afterwards is for 30 children, ideally those who will be involved in the competition.
Q: How long will it take ImpAct to set up?
A: ImpAct will arrive approximately one hour prior to the performance and set up.
Q: What environmental issues should the project focus on?
A: The recipe booklet should focus on the environmental benefits of reducing, reusing and recycling food wastes.
