Strategic Environmental Assessment
This is an Environmental Report that has been produced as part of the Strategic Environmental Assesment (SEA) for the Hertfordshire County Council Municipal Waste Management Strategy. The SEA is required by law for a number of statutory documents including Municipal Waste Management Strategies.
It aims to identify the environmental implications of a plan or strategy before it is adopted and its provisions are implemented. This allows the environmental impacts of proposals to be identified and eliminated or minimised whilst at the planning stage. Please email any comments about the report to wasteaware@hertscc.gov.uk
