Oven/Hobs

Our recycling / disposal advice

If you have an oven, cooker or parts of a hob from your home to be disposed of, they can be taken to any of the Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRC). Here they will be placed in the scrap metal bin for recycling (or electrical ovens will be placed with the large domestic electrical appliances for recycling). Ask the operator for advice if you are unsure where to put it.

If they are still in good working condition, ovens etc may be useful for furniture re-use schemes. Some accept these items whereas others do not.
